The VanConnect 4G WiFi router is specially designed for your Caravan or Camper and it is the first 12 volt WiFi router on the market that gives you 4G LTE-ADVANCED. The router is optimised for all Australian data providers, Telstra, Optus, Vodafone and more. The VanConnect works on Mobile Pre-Paid Plans, Mobile Contract and even Data Share SIM cards.

With the built in media centre you can share movies, images or music over multiple devices connected to your caravan RV WiFi network.

Our WiFi router works on a standard 12 volt power connection, meaning an easy installation for in your caravan or camper.

VanConnect 4G incorporates true Telstra 4GX and Optus 4G+ at 300Mb/s through LTE-ADVANCED, whereas the competition only offers 150Mb/s. This means that VanConnect gives you up to twice as fast mobile data speeds, an absolute must for online streaming and downloading.
The VanConnect uses WiFi 5, also known as AC wireless, with a throughput of 1,200 MBit per second. This is four times faster WiFi than the competition. A must when streaming High Definition movies to multiple devices, or using Netflix or other online streaming services in your caravan.
VanConnect 4G incorporates MIMO technology for both 4G and WiFi. MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) is a wireless technology that uses multiple transmitters and receivers to transfer more data at the same time, effectively doubling your wireless speed.
VanConnect uses superior 3G and 4G omni directional antennas, providing a stronger connection to your Telstra, Optus and Vodafone mobile network provider. This allows the VanConnect to provide you with internet where the competition is unable to connect to a mobile service.
VanConnect 4Gis a media streaming device. The VanConnect can stream music and High Definition movies to devices on the network, such as mobile phones and tables. Movies and music can be stored on a standard USB device. The VanConnect is also able to accept SD cards, allowing you to view and transfer movies and pictures from digital cameras, or just use as additional storage space on the VanConnect.
VanConnect can read drives that are formatted to exFAT or NTFS, not just FAT32 like some other devices on the market. This gives the VanConnect the capability to connect to storage drives and read files larger than 4GB. Great for watching those High Definition movies, or storing your HD drone footage.
No other company on the market is able to provide such an easy to install and use system. The full Cowfish package encompasses mobile data, WiFi, network storage, data security and streaming services through dedicated hardware designed and built to work together.

SIM card options

The VanConnect is endorsed by Telstra and is supplied with a Telstra Pre-Paid SIM card. The unit however is not locked to a specific provider and is optimised for all Australian networks, Telstra, Optus, Vodafone or other. The VanConnect works on Pre-Paid Plans, Contracts and even Data Share SIM cards. As a result, you can choose which Australian Telecom Provider you would like to use and if you want a pre-paid data plan or a monthly data plan.
Telstra offers a solution where you can purchase an additional SIM card and have this SIM card linked to your existing account. called a Data Bundle Plan. When purchasing a Data Bundle SIM, you will be able to access your combined monthly data allowance from your phone, as well as the VanConnect, as they will all be linked to the same account. Installation

The VanConnect unit can be installed on the back wall of an overhead cupboard, or on a shelf near a 12V power point. Power to the unit is supplied via a 12 volt cigarette plug.
The external antenna is mounted on the roof of the caravan and the four leads (3 metres long) are connected to the VanConnect.
