When upgrading to a VanTenna model A and removing the Winegard or AntennaTek winding mechanism there will be a hole left in the ceiling. The Cowfish blanking plate covers the hole where the internal winder used to be.

Model A This model comes with a TV connector (F type) on the bottom of the unit. This version is ideal for new antenna installations on a caravan where a coax cable has not yet been installed, or when replacing on older TV antenna that had an internal coax cable, for instance a King Jack TV antenna. This version also includes an integrated AM/FM antenna with a dedicated radio coax cable.
The Blanking Plate can be used with the model A VanTenna to cover the hole of the internal winder.
​Model B This model comes with a TV connector (F type) on the side of the unit. This version is ideal for customers that already have a TV coax cable coming through their roof, that connects to an older antenna on the outside, for instance a Winegard or AntennaTek.
The Blanking Plate does not need to be used with the model B VanTenna, as the internal winder is not removed.
